The page linked below sets-out Kent County Council's response to the Government White Paper on Devolved Government in England. Kent (with Medway Council) has asked to be included in the Government's Devolution Priority Programme and is also one of many County and Unitary Councils that have written to the Government requesting postponement of the Council elections due to be held in May in order to plan for local government reorganisation and, potentially, mayoral elections in 2026.
